Mohamed Salah Offers Apology to Squad, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that Mohamed Salah said sorry to the group of players after the controversy from his televised remarks.

He was omitted from a European match after voicing frustrations and claiming his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I'm sorry.’”
Arne Slot has chosen not to disclose on whether he got an explanation from the player.

The player stated that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he was smiling and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
He also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is less of an issue. “I understand there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just not start, then I think that’s concerning.”

The team's performance have been impressive in the games following the interview fallout. Jones believes the forward's comments were never meant to cause disruption.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a place of caring,” Jones concluded. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, performing and securing victories.”
